Canadian citizens, permanent residents, international students, work permit holders and visitor visa holders can legally possess firearms and hunt. Canada's gun license Possession and Acquisition License (PAL) is issued by the Gun License Administration, which is affiliated with the Royal Mounted Police. It is the same license for all Canada, but please note that if you move, you must notify the Gun License Administration in time.

Canada does not have concealed or open carry licenses like the United States (except for police and special workers).

There are three levels of weapons here:

Non-restricted (commonly known as long gun license): non-restricted,

Restricted (commonly known as pistol license) restricted,

Prohibited level Prohibited

Except for practitioners in special occupations such as military and police, civilians are only allowed to hold unrestricted and restricted licenses.

In 2017, he was appointed by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and became the first Chinese firearms license instructor/examiner in Manitoba to teach Canadian unrestricted and restricted firearms licenses.In 2019, it was authorized by Ontario to provide gun license training and assessment in Ontario.
